North Announces Promotion of Kyle Kottkamp to Lafayette Service Manager

Please help us congratulate Kyle Kottkamp on his promotion to Lafayette Service Manager!

Kyle is excited about his involvement in the operations of the Service Department in Lafayette. Kyle has been enjoying the interactions with our service staff and technicians, as well as the opportunities to visit our clients in the Lafayette and surrounding areas and learning how we can continue to meet their needs. He has also been collaborating with Brian Corriveau, our Lafayette Operations Manager, whose support and leadership have been instrumental in guiding our team.

Kyle’s education includes focusing on General Studies at Vincennes and Ball State University. Before starting his career with North, Kyle has been in the HVAC industry for 33 years. He started as a residential technician in 1991 and moved up to commercial and industrial over the years. Kyle then joined the Local 157 in 2002 with Craft Mechanical. Kyle started with North Mechanical in 2019 and has worked as an HVAC Technician, Operations Manager, Service Estimator, and now Service Manager!

Outside of his professional life here at North, Kyle has been happily married to his wife Amy for 28 years. They have three great kids, two sons and a daughter. Their oldest son Kale is 23 and just graduated from IU Kokomo with a BS in Health Sciences. Owen is 19 and attending the University of North Dakota and studying Commercial Aviation. Emma is 13 just finishing up 7th grade, and is very active in Basketball, Running, Tennis, and a full social calendar with her circle of friends.

In his free time, Kyle enjoys spending time with family and friends, barbequing, and on his boat at Lake Cumberland Kentucky. Some fun facts about Kyle are that he has won the neighborhood Chili Cookoff 3 of the last 4 years. He has been to Lake Cumberland at least once a year for the last 46 years. Kyle also used to barefoot water ski, and still tries to slalom ski when he and his family are at the lake!
